2026 Year of the Fire Horse

Chinese New Year according to the lunar calendar falls on February 17th of 2026.
The energy shift completes between February 4th and February 17th of 2026
We will be celebrating a Horse year in 2026. The Horse is a Yang Fire energy. This should
help bring more happiness, energy, and passion, along with anger and fighting. Wars are
typically more prevalent in horse years because they need to fight is stronger.

Every four years in Chinese astrology there is something called a three combine. This
energy creates excess fire in both February and October. This can create eruptions and fire
hazards.

The Yang fire doubles in 2026 reflected in both the heavenly stem and earthly branch.
Making fire danger more prevalent throughout the year.

People born in a Rat year or on a Rat day may be experiencing more conflict. A conflict
makes change more likely and can induce a move or a job change along with challenges
throughout 2026. For people born in a Rat year the conflict will affect work and outside
relationships along with travel. People born on a Rat day will be more affected in their
personal life and in their personal relationships. Wearing a goat or sheep talisman will help
mediate the conflict.

People born in a Horse year will be insulting the Grand Duke and therefore should also
carry a goat or sheep talisman.
People born in the year of the Ox typically are in better luck during a Horse year as the ox is
one of the mediators between the horse and the rat.

Rat years are 1936, 1948,1960,1972,1984, 1996, 2008, and 2020.

Horse years are 1942,1954,1966,1978,1990, 2002, 2014, 2026.

The year you are born is only one small aspect of your astrology chart, and everyone’s
chart has four different pillars which relate to several aspects of our lives. Each animal is
represented by an element. It is necessary to look at the entire chart, which tells us which
aspects of the chart have the most importance this year.
The goat/sheep is in combination with the Horse and therefore is in general good luck.
Animals in good luck that are in combination with the Horse are Tiger and Dog. However,
because of the strong Yang Fire this type of luck is intermittent.
There will still be civil unrest, because of the passion and anger when the fire is especially
strong. The unrest could be stronger in summer as those are months of strongest fire.
A fire year stands for optimism; it also has passion and anger attached to it. Therefore, it
can be helpful to economics as traditionally we are more optimistic during fire years.
The heavenly stem is Fire and the branch Fire Horse sits underneath it. This makes the fire
extraordinarily strong.

FLYING STARS
The second aspect of looking at energies is the Flying Star Feng Shui. This school of Feng
Shui is like looking at an astrology chart for our homes and businesses. It tells us which
areas can create negative energy, and which areas are the most positive. We try to restrain
the energies of the negative spaces and activate where we see positive energies. Having a
chart of the stars that already live in the areas can be extremely helpful. Most star energies
change depending on their location within the house and the other stars they are next to.
The Grand Duke (Jupiter) this year is in the south. Making sure you have one of the celestial
guardians in the south can help to cure the Grand Duke location. It is most important to
cure this location if it is at a highly used area, such as the front or back door. It is also
important not to dig or cause commotion in the south where the grand Duke is located.
Celestial guardians include Fu dogs, Chi Luns, and Pi Xiu’s. Fu (Foo) Dogs should be used
in pairs. As a result, the crash position is in the north and is not considered a good location
to sit or spend time.

The five star is the most negative star in this cycle. It is thought to represent misfortune. The
five star is located in the South in 2026. This star is cured with 6 Chinese coins, a 6 tube

chime or a 6 pearl cure. It will be especially important to make sure the star is cured as it is
in the same location as the Grand Duke for 2026.
The two star which in our previous cycle represented illness, in this cycle it is future timely,
it is located in the Northwest, however, it can still create negative aspects if it sits next to a
negative star. It is cured in the same way as the five star with six Chinese coins, a 6 tube
chime, or a six pearl cure.
The three star and six star are both considered safe and usable and typically do not need to
be cured during this cycle. The three star is located in the West and the six star is located in
the North.
The seven robbery star is located in the Southwest. It can be cured with a blue crystal, blue
glass, or a seven star cure which has ten blue glass beads and fish on it. In certain cases,
blue water or 3 bamboo in water can also work effectively on holding the energy of the star.
The eight star is not necessarily negative in this cycle. It’s positive or negative aspects
generally change depending on what star it is located next to. Located in the East for 2026.
The Star can be cured with 6 Chinese coins, a 6 tube chime.
The nine star it’s located in the Southeast. In this current cycle, it is considered the money
star and can be activated with movement such as a fountain, clock with a secondhand, or
a cat with a waving arm. In homes built between 1984 and 2003 the nine star cannot be
activated in 2026 because it typically sits next to a negative star according to the birth chart
for the house.
The one star is located in the center. It can be activated as it represents future money.
Remember anytime a good star moves to the center of the house. It is hard to activate due
to its location. If the center is very open or the entry of the home is closer to the center of
the house you may be able to activate it.
Caution needs to be used whenever activating a star unless you know the nature of the
actual stars at your home or business. That information will allow you to know whether it is
safe to activate a star.

























CLASSES
On December 9 and December 16 at 6 o’clock, we will be doing classes online for yoga

December 9, 2026 will be a class on health and long life. December 16th will be a class on
geographic stress.

We will have four classes/events at the beginning of 2026 so that everyone can get
prepared for the year.
All classes will be online via Zoom. Classes are still $15 each.
On January 8th, 2026. The door hanger class will be on Thursday night at 6:30.
I hope you will join us in discussing the aspects of 2026 along with creating a Horse
emblem for the front door to celebrate the Chinese new year.
The next Thursday night on January 15, 2026. the session is also at 6:30. I will teach a flying
star class for 2026. We will discuss all aspects of the compass school flying star feng shui
for the year along with the impacts it could have on other parts of our lives. We will discuss
several ways of curing the stars.
On January 22, 2026, I will teach a wealth and health feng shui class centered on things
that we need to do in 2026 to keep both aspects of our lives strong throughout the year.
On Wednesday , February 4th, 2026, I will be doing a Chinese New Year Joss paper ritual. I
will begin the ritual at 5 o’clock and it will be recorded on Zoom in case you need to watch it
later.
